Lauder is a popular stopover when cycling the Otago Central Railtrail in 3-4 days, the closest town to the impressive Poolburn Gorge, viaducts and tunnels.
Historic School & Cottages
Our unique century old school building has been transformed into three newly refurbished ensuite rooms. Our standard rooms are situated in former surrounding school buildings, tastefully decorated retaining the old school feel.
We also have new self-contained studio units which are standalone rustic cottages in the school gardens.
We have created a unique atmosphere for rest and relaxation. Enjoy our outdoor spa pool after a long day on a bike on the Otago Central Railtrail. All set in delightful country gardens with relics of yesteryear, along with Alistair the goat.
Milmor Cottage
A 3 bedroom self contained house, great for families or groups of 6-7 people. Recently updated inside and out, it is very clean and comfortable. You have exclusive occupancy in Milmor Cottage.

Excursions on the Otago Railtrail:
We can also organise side trips to St Bathans or Ophir for a minimal charge in a van with a passenger licenced driver, and help organise curling at Nasby for your next night.
